I continue to work to improve myself as a designer, illustrator, cartoonist and communicator. I have pretensions to authorship as well, but it's better at this point if I don't get above myself.

It's been an interesting year, and recent events have me re-examining my career, my work and my direction.
It's a bit like losing one's dwarves, one's wizard and one's way.
But I'm not without ideas, plans or action. I'm just looking at what I'm doing and pondering the value of it.
An egocentric little conundrum, but by the clock, I imagine I'm due. I intend to make it work for me and not against me, regardless.

In the spirit of holiday cheer and goodwill to... whomever, I have now joined the statistical ranks of the unemployed as all designers were unilaterally fired from the company where I work.
So I am on to my new job... Which is finding a new job.
If anyone is interested in commissioning me for... anything, I suppose that would be fine. But commissions would be new to me, and I need to work out my pricing and rules, etc. Not that I'm a particularly commisionable artist here on dA, but one has to try.
I shan't be as steady here either until I've reassembled my job-hunting toolkit (updated resume, rebuilt portfolio site, etc). So if I'm slow t
